I Built a WILDLIFE Pond for BIRD Photography
Nice video
I did have a small pond in my postage. Stamp size yard, I set it up for the native frogs but got rid of it after it also got raided by snakes, red belly black snake to be exact. I dismantled the pond, terrified of snakes especially poisonous ones😮
Loved everything in this video but especially listening to the birds. I live in a suburb that luckily has a lot of trees and native bush land and although there isn’t a huge variety I love hearing the early morning and evening birds. We have rainbow lorikeet, noisy minors, sulphur crested cockatoos , magpies, crows, swallows, Willie wag tail but my favourite is the laughing kookaburra. There is a man mad lake in large park land and so many more water birds are full time residents including a pair of black swans that have been there a few years now.
This is so beautiful and entertaining. I’d love to hear the wildlife. ❤
Stefano, I am writing because I am disappointed. I am dying to see new content. You hooked me with your new land content and I check back often for any new vids. Now that we’re almost in summer I’m really looking forward to seeing the updates on the winter storylines. Please post soon even if not fully finished editing .
Your project is great, I want it too
The woodpecker was tired of privacy invasion
So nice🌼🌻🌱❤❤❤
Is this can be done in 2021 version
I really enjoyed your video and all of the wildlife you captured on the camera!!! Nice job on the pond. Looks very natural.
Thank you for creating the most beautiful video I've ever seen. 😍😍😍
Is Red Fox the code name for the ATF agent?
Such an amazing video
Those damn peckers!
I was backing Bigfoot
Now you need to get the species renamed as "Plastic and wood pecker"
I was kinda' thinking some type of bird too.
thank you so much for showing us your journey, i'm so excited for everything you do in the future.
That’s a chance you take with trail cams.
amazing, inspiring
I grew up like this, my family has a history of building environments for native animals and birds. I was outside observing wildlife most of the day from age 4-10yrs. I remember every first sighting of new animals vividly. I had to move into the suburbs and then city as a preteen. I guess I didn’t adapt well bc I work in a warehouse and in sales now. I doubt I’ll ever own property but I appreciate being able to experience the wildlife secondhand. Your content is healing an aching hole in my heart, really. Good to know some care the way I do.
My family had one of the oldest living mulberry trees known on our property. Now I don’t even know if it’s still there. Luckily we took a propagated cutting but, the horror of it growing in a pot on the porch like a houseplant.
First time viewing this kind of content. Enjoying it. Thank you. Regards from India, Delhi.
Take the stupid trail camera down what are you doing something illegal what reason do you have to have trail cameras up
You're lucky, the first attempt of someone stealing my trail camera they broke off plastic bracket. Second attempt I actually saw my neighbor taking the whole thing. Unfortunately, it was 5 am in the winter and viewing the theft thru 2 deodar cedar trees from a long distance, so instead of risking a false accusation & lawsuit I did not call the police.
The government don't want you to know this but it's that damn samsquanch
I could only see 2 fox cubs or whatever you call them. But i thought there were 5 fox cubs?
So cool. Beautiful bird. Just wondering what is on my tree.
🤣
TQ so much sir, for saving environment
Thank you Stefano 🙏 In a world full of madness this is a wonderful heart warmer 🙏
I would love to volunteer for this kind of project 😊😊
@Naturensoehne
good job
My 9 year old son and I LOVED this video. We watched the whole thing and enjoyed it in our homeschool day. You explain so much about the wildlife and cameras. Thank you!
Lmfao awesome
Hilarious! "After a bit of patience...I saw nothing."
Better than the PD strap check out the Cotton G3 camera harness, takes the weight off the neck, mounts the camera and lens at the front eary release. Camera doesn't bang around like a strap.
This was beautiful. I love photography, birds, wildflowers, cats, and ponds. Your attitude and care for all animals - and the cat - made me cry tears of happiness.
Wow, you know your birds! Visual ID, their preferred diets & migration patterns...and you were able to speak about them with such ease. Thank you so much for sharing this incredible footage, of birds, reptiles, mammals, trees, flowers and more. And the fox kits! So cute and funny! I can't imagine how many hours it must have taken to review, choose which footage and compile it all into a coherent documentary. I grew up around Quebec and Ottawa, so this definitely brought back memories. And also served as a great reminder to fall in love with all the "regulars" wherever one lives, as they all have unique roles in the ecosystem. You must have gone to McGill's Macdonald campus? I took some of my favourite courses there! Thank you so much from a fellow bird nerd!
this is beautiful to watch, how much wildlife is attracted by a little pond. one question: what about cleaning the pond? regular birdbaths, as far as i´ve read, must be cleaned and refilled with fresh water regularly so avoid becoming a safety hazard for birds. are you in any way worried about this here, do you change the water regularly or assume natural rainfall will ensure enough water exchange?
Wow very beautiful, I’m trying to turn my backyard into a wildlife oasis and this is wonderful you did an amazing job!
I knew it was a woodpecker out the gate lol
So lovely. This is my new escape.
I stay at home with corona and how much satisfying your videos are!
Thank you for this awesome content, creating comfortable life for species and saving a little baby! 🥹
The bird likes the sound knock knock
Lol, fake af
National Wildlife Federation has a backyard habitat program, you completed it with a pond. Well done, great video.
God bless you, sir, for sharing your passion for nature and making as be better humans with this !
